Summary

CoScope helps a court-reporting transcript editor clean a rough realtime transcript into a certified final. The name joins Co, for collaboration, and Scope, for the scopist role.

Problem

Rough transcripts carry predictable errors: homophones, mis-split question and answer turns, punctuation on interruptions. Catching them by hand under deadline is slow and easy to miss.

Approach

A multi-signal correction council. A rule engine, an audio voter, and a language-model voter each weigh in and propose safe auto-fixes versus flags a human should review. Guardrails keep names and anything ambiguous in human hands. A review cockpit lets the editor accept or reject with audio playback at each flag. It runs on-device, so nothing confidential leaves the machine.
